The NYC Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) will provide information about Rainfall Ready and Cloudburst Management programs. National Grid will provide a presentation related to the NYS Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act. The Prospect Park Alliance will provide updates about operations and park activities.

Join the committee for a presentation about NHS Brooklyn programs, services and resources for homeowners, landlords, and tenants. The Association for Neighborhood and Housing Development (ANHD) will present on the Displacement Alert portal (DAP) for residents. A third presentation wil follow on the Fund for the City of New York Research Proposal for determining Zoning Text Amendment potential impacts in CD14.

With the approach of winter and the holiday season, CB14 and the NYC Fire Department (FDNY) encourage you to stay safe when it comes to indoor fireplaces, candles, electric heaters, smoke alarms, and holiday preparations. More than one third of home fires occur during the months of December, January and February. Most fires and injuries are preventable when the proper precautions are in place. Please take a moment to review the resources linked below to make sure you are prepared!
