Have You Signed The Petition?
At our Council meeting tomorrow evening, we will hear a presentation from the City Assessor regarding the increases in property values in the City. While increased values are a good sign, if the City doesn't act, they will take an additional $4.2 million in property taxes from owners of nearly 25,000 parcels.
Conservatives on Council need your help. If you haven't signed the petition, I ask you to add your name to a list of taxpayers who OPPOSE the City of Lynchburg taking additional taxes in the upcoming budget.
If you have signed the petition, I ask you to please forward this email to three friends who would agree with us.

Now is not the time to be putting an additional financial burden on families and businesses in Lynchburg. I will fight this and advocate for no tax hikes in our city.

Ward IV Representative
