There are less than 5 months to go to celebrate the 2020 edition of the World Table Tennis Day (WTTD).

Within the last years the WTTD began to grow and hopefully will continue to grow because of YOU: Starting with 158 events organised in 70 countries reaching around 63.000 participants in 2015, in 2019 more than 700.000 people were celebrating at 922 events in 107 countries.

You want to do more than just celebrate it? Awesome! You would like to host your own event but don’t know where to start? No worries, we will help you!!!

We look forward to welcoming more participants celebrating World Table Tennis Day in 2020 around the world, thereby we are working on new features and materials to support organisers and future participants.

In the past editions we were focussing on event organisation, diversity in different target groups, different places where one could organise a WTTD and table tennis for the local purpose. A little heads up: This WTTD edition will focus on the ENVIRONMENT:

• Ecological environment
• Economic environment
• Healthy environment
• Social environment
• Political environment

Before you start, we would like to THANK YOU for making the past editions so successful and hope to count on you again this year.

So, don’t wait longer preparing your event, play your part and START TODAY in order to make a change and grow together to be more popular, universal and inclusive! We know, it is hard to decide where to start, but there is no time like the present! We suggest, that you start by downloading and reading our Toolkit, which is available in 9 different languages: Arabic, Chinese, English, French, German, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish and Japanese.

And remember: No matter how big or small your event is, the most important thing is to celebrate it and to share it with us and the TT family via #WorldTableTennisDay.

Now WTTD is a new section on our website www.ittffoundation.org, but the old one www.tt4all.com is still available in the 9 languages. We also prepared the WTTD Logo for you not only in these 9 languages. They are available on the website in different formats, too, so you can edit the logopack to your needs and print T-shirts, stickers and banners to promote the events!
