Do a Mitzvah….
be a volunteer leader with the SYVJC!

By Jeff Winter, Director, SYVJC Board

You are a special person. You have many talents and skills. You have a desire to serve and be an active part of a special group of people. You care about your community, your Jewish heritage and want to make a difference…….well then…..have we got something for you!!

The Santa Ynez Valley Jewish Community is in need of volunteer leaders! We are seeking those who are willing to give of their time and themselves to make a difference in our community. Committee members, Committee Chairs, Future Board Members are all needed to help plan Events, Fund Raisers and to lead and inspire our small but mighty community.

We would like to know if you or someone you know would like to participate and help lead our community forward. There are many opportunities to be involved, from planning fun get-togethers and important Holiday events to participating in the policy and leadership of the community. Whatever your special skill set and desire to contribute and however much time you have to give, we will match you up with a volunteer role that is just right for you.

Being an active member of the SYJVC will offer you opportunities to build unique friendships and receive the special satisfaction that comes from giving to others and being an active part of something truly special. This is indeed a Mitzvah! Let’s explore your interests together! Please
contact Katherine at kksyv@aol.com. We are very excited about your interest to become involved and making a difference with the Santa Ynez Jewish Community.
