Road Closed - Overnight Closure
16 Nov - 19 Nov (Mon-Thurs)
B2082 Smallhythe Road, Tenterden
Overnight closures are planned from Monday 16 November 2020 for up to 3 nights, from 20:00 hours through until approximately 06:00 hours each night in the general vicinity of the new Taylor Wimpey development (Smallhythe Road). There will be no direct access between Tenterden and Wittersham / Rye using the B2082 during these works. The alternative route for all through traffic is via B2082 Smallhythe Road, Peening Quarter Road, Poplar Road, Stocks Road, Rye Road, Wittersham Road, Iden Road, Main Street, Grove Lane, Rye Hill, Military Road, B2080 Station Road, The Street (Appledore), Tenterden Road, Reading Street, Appledore Road, B2067 East Hill, Oaks Road, A28 East Cross, High Street, West Cross.The 7.5T environmental weight limit in respect of Military Road, Rye / Stone will be temporarily suspended to allow its use for the diversion. Local access to the remainder of B2082 Smallhythe Road continues from either direction up to where the road is actually closed >>> more
