Happy Valentines Day

Happy Valentines Day everyone ... we're just waiting for all the lovely tables to be occupied again and for our amazing shops in Tenterden to re-open. What a year it has been!
Happy Valentines Day

Love Local Day

The winners of Tenterden Town Council's "Love Local Day" favourite local business nominations featuring "TenterTed" have been announced! Here we have winners Michael & Helen from Elizabeth Rose receiving a wonderful goodie bag full of delicious sweets from 2n6 Sweets, Ashford Road, Tenterden, and Rachel from Pure Connection Pets in Tenterden, receiving a lovely bouquet of flowers from Barry Jones Florist/Tenterden Chamber

TenterTed's going to have a short rest before he returns to Tenterden High Street to look for his favourite Mother's Day present (it's a month today, Sunday 14 March)

Huge thanks to Keli from Tenterden Town Council for supporting TenterTed on his grand tour of Tenterden  >>> more

What's In A Name

Tenterden U3A Project - Please help

Tenterden U3A have embarked on What’s In A Name?,  researching all the street names in Tenterden and St Michaels, approaching 200 of them. The idea is to produce a booklet listing them all with the year they came about, the reason behind the name, and any stories around the name - notable past events, residents, War memories etc.
The U3A are looking for personal stories, reminiscences etc. to help build up an almost social history of our town through its centuries of development. Any stories would be most welcome >>> more
