Free Parking
Free car parking extended until 31 October to help the recovery of the High Street:
- Tenterden Leisure Centre car park, all day free car parking (until 31 October), Mon-Sun
- Station Road Coach park, 3 hour car parking (until 31 October), east side of Station Road only, Mon-Sun, you must take a free 3 hour ticket from the machine and display on your car
- Bridewell Lane car park, free every Sunday and on Bank Holidays too (ongoing)
- One hour car parking in the High Street in the designated bays

Highbury Hall Craft Market

Also the same weekend, on Saturday 12th Sept, sees the return of the Highbury Hall Craft Market. Carolyn says "After a long wait our local crafters are able to show their gorgeous, unique, hand-crafted items again, just in time for you to start thinking about Christmas. They have all been very creative during Lockdown and have loads of fabulous new items for you to buy. The cafe will be open for takeaways only, with Bacon Rolls, Fresh Sandwiches, Cakes and Drinks" >>> more info

Marine Training Corps - Tenterden
NEW GROUP
Information night Wednesday 26th August 2020 at the Tenterden Social Hub (Church Road) from 7-9pm for parents, interested cadets and adult volunteers. Come and find out more about us, who we are, what we are doing when we launch the Tenterden Troop on Tuesday 1st September 2020. Cadets can join at any time between ages 9-18 (the maximum age for entry is 17). Volunteers must be 21+, no cadet or service experience is needed. Please wear masks. Proms Spectacular Concert
Saturday 29 August, Hole Park
Proms Spectacular Concert at the Hole Park Estate in Rolvenden, Kent next weekend (Sat 29 Aug). Set up your picnic and admire the daring Spitfire display overhead. The amazing London Orion Orchestra will be on stage alongside acclaimed vocalists Nicky Spence and Claire Presland. Incredible firework finale to end the night. Lots of food on site to purchase or why not make it a picnic weekend as tickets are also on sale for UK Queen who will be performing all your favourite Queen hits on Friday 28 August 2020.
