MPP Report ~ July 2019 Issue
I hope you are enjoying the hot, summer days with your family and friends. There is so much to do in our community, from sporting events to block parties. I have enjoyed getting around to see our local activities and talk with residents.
During this month there have been multiple announcements relating to health care funding and to following up for West Carleton residents impacted by the Ottawa River flood. In July I also launched a Kanata-Carleton Community Volunteer Initiative to help raise awareness on the benefits of volunteering. Details for all these items can be found within this MPP Report.
Through the balance of the summer I will be continuing to attend community events. If you wish to arrange a meeting, or you are part of a community group that would like me to attend an event, contact my Community Office and make arrangements with my staff. (Office contact info is below - or you can fill out an online form to request a meeting or for me to attend an event.)
I hope our paths may cross at a community event where we can say hello.
P.S. -- It is hard to believe it has been a year since I was sworn into office to represent the residents of Kanata-Carleton! If you have yet to see this, I have compiled a dozen photos to reflect on my first year.
