We kicked off June with a day of weeding and planting warm weather crops in the SPUR Community Roots Garden at St. Andrew's. The fresh, organic produce that the garden produces will be shared with area food pantries and neighbors facing food insecurity.

Our warm weather crops include cucumber, tomato, peppers, eggplant, green beans, zucchini, butternut squash, dill, basil, parsley, and cilantro. Our kale, chard, spinach, carrots, romaine, and potatoes continue from our cold weather planting in April. 

Thank you to the Marblehead Garden Center for the generous donation of 20 flats of veggies and flowers that we planted this past Saturday.

Youth Enrichment Workshops
September - June, we invite youth ages 4-11, to participate in age appropriate discussion on community, stewardship & social action. Stay tuned for our 2019-2020 dates to come. 
 

*ONE SPOT REMAINS* Camp InSPURation
Only one spot remains for youth ages 10-16 to participate in Camp InSPURation at Tower School. Campers will develop architectural and building skills, critical thinking, project planning and leadership abilities. Together, campers will design, build and deliver a playhouse to Children's Friend and Family Services in Salem for play as well as therapeutic purposes.
