Dear Community of Doers, 

Words cannot express how grateful I am for all of the support shown through our 2019 SPUR Summer Fling! It was a magical evening under lights at the Jeremiah Lee Mansion. Over 350 tickets were secured as hundreds of community members from an array of ages came together to celebrate nearly five years of spurring good deeds and to help expand our collective impact. 
With live music by Chad Hollister, a stunning grazing table and top notch bartending service by Vinwood Caterer's and delectable small bites by Chive Events, attendees enjoyed a beautiful summer evening.
Our silent auction offered 83 packages from over 100 items and experiences donated by local businesses and members of the community. Thank you to our bidders who collectively raised nearly $22,000 to help sustain all that we do here at SPUR!
We took a moment to acknowledge our collective impact. Last year alone, we clocked 5,168 volunteer hours. Otherwise stated, that is 215 days spent in service of others and our communities.  Our beaches and open spaces were cleaned, youth learned through service, retirees shared experiences, isolated were connected and the hungry were fed.  Thank you for helping to make our future work possible!   
During our live fund-a-need, donors stepped up with targeted gifts in support of expanding the SPUR Community Roots Garden at St. Andrew's so that we may grow even more produce for local food pantries.  Gave to empower youth through our Seed Grant program.  Provided 4 youth which scholarships to Camp InSPURation and supported our volunteer efforts.  Through active giving, $14,550 was raised. Thank you to attendees who raised their numbers!
Volunteers were integral to the success of the evening, from our amazing Summer Fling committee who worked tirelessly for 9 months on the evening, to the high school students who helped keep the everything running smoothly. 

 
Our annual Summer Fling marks pivotal milestones in SPUR’s ongoing success story. Your support allows our work to continue.

In all, the evening raised over $71,000 to help sustain our operation and grow our impact!  Thank you.
