This Spring, our Enrichment program continues with 3 exciting workshops for youth ages 4-11.

Our workshops aim to expand our work of cultivating a Community of Doers, by educating local children about their community’s and how to take a stand and do something, big or small, to better the world around them. The monthly workshops held at our office, provide interactive opportunities to engage with peers and to have guided discussions on a variety of topics such as Community, Social Action, and Stewardship.

We believe that for children to understand their role in their communities and in their world, they first must take time to reflect on themselves and the people and places immediately around them.  They also need a firm understanding in shared needs and wants, in order to understand the mutual benefits working with others to better our spaces.
Our spring sessions will focus on the topic of stewardship.  In March, we will look at bucket filling and how we can fill or empty the invisible buckets of others with our words and actions.  Our April workshop will coincide with the Spring cleanup in honor of Earth Day, where we will collect trash/recycled pieces and make something from it that we can put on display in our community. Our final session for the 2018-2019 year will include action planning as a family and answering the question “what will you do this summer to be a steward of your environment or community”.

There is an $8 pp suggested donation to help cover expenses associated with the program. Our upcoming Workshops are planned for March 30, April 28, and May 18 from 1:00 - 1:45pm. Click here to register for any of our upcoming sessions.

We hope you and your children decide to join us!

We are thrilled to announce the launch of Camp InSPURation in partnership with Tower School.

Camp InSPURation aims to empower campers ages 12-16 to realize their potential to positively impact the lives of others and the community around them, while developing architectural & building skills, critical thinking, project planning and leadership abilities.

Learn more about our forward thinking 2-week service learning camp that culminates with applying skills learned during the session to design and build a playhouse, which will then be gifted to Children's Friends and Family Services for therapeutic client services.

Visit Tower's website for more details or to register. Space is limited.
