Wishing you and your family a healthy, peaceful and safe holiday season.  At Signs That Save™, we believe that knowledge is power and collaboration with organizations benefits the whole.  Over the past two months, I have had the privilege to be invited as a guest on The Child Safety Source podcast with host Eric Lupton and co-host Rich Specht to talk about child safety and the use of visual cues for prevention of accidental injury and death.  My husband Art and I recorded an interview and educational course with Andrew Roszak, founder of The Institute for Childhood Preparedness.  Andrew asked us to share our insight about home safety and visual cues for their Protecting Children Series. We partnered with The Institute for Childhood Preparedness to provide you with a free course on the topic of visual cues and the science behind behavior.  On average, children spend 36 hours a week in a child care setting, and they are likely to be in the care of an early childhood professional during an emergency or disaster. Early childhood professionals' needs are very specific and Andrew founded the Institute for Childhood Preparedness to address these needs directly and empower individuals.
