NY State Seed Funding Grant Program

The New York State Seed Funding Grant Program was created to provide assistance to early-stage small businesses to succeed in a recovering New York State economy.

Grant amounts up to $25,000 are available
Must be a currently viable Micro-business, Small business, or For-profit arts and cultural organization including independent arts contractors that started business on September 1, 2018 or later and has been operational for at least six months before an application is submitted
Eligible applicants must provide evidence, acceptable to NY State, that the applicant is operational and meets the program requirements
Due to a limited amount of funding and the high volume of requests expected; business type, geography, and industry may factor into ability to receive a grant

SBA CYBER SUMMIT

The SBA will convene experts from the Cybersecurity and Business worlds to share best practices and practical tools to help small businesses.

Administrator Isabella Casillas Guzman, head of the US Small Business Administration (SBA), announced that the agency will host a free, virtual National Cyber Summit on October 26, 2022. This cybersecurity forum will help introduce American Small Businesses to tools, tips, and resources to bolster their cybersecurity infrastructure in addition to exploring new trends and challenges entrepreneurs are increasingly facing.
