NEW! ACCESSING HEALTHCARE

Today, Governor Baker reminded us that while the physical distancing message that underlies the Stay-at-Home Advisory remains in effect and remains critically important to protecting ourselves and others from the threat of COVID-19, no one should avoid seeking treatment when they are feeling sick or dealing with any medical condition.

Remember you still always access the Buoy Health online COVID-19 symptom tracker, contact your healthcare provider with concerns, or dial 911 in an emergency.

Northern Berkshire residents will have the opportunity to support healthcare needs in our community when the Berkshire Health Systems bloodmobile comes to North Adams and Williamstown. The donation schedule and locations are as follows:
  • Wednesday, April 29, 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., North Adams Elks
  • Tuesday, May 12, 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Williamstown Police Department
  • Monday, May 18, 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., North Adams Walmart
  • Tuesday, May 26, 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., First Congregational Church, Williamstown
All donations made via Berkshire Health Systems help local patients; for those dealing with cancer, other illnesses, and emergencies, the need for blood donations is urgent.

Donors are requested to be healthy without any symptoms of cough, cold, or fever. Please schedule an appointment today, which helps prevent long wait times and assists BHS to plan for this event. To sign up, please contact (413) 447-2597 x 2 or camuso@bhs1.org.
