Heidi Goedhart

Heidi is originally from Idaho and transplanted to Salt Lake City twelve years ago with her bicycle by her side. Heidi has developed a passion for active transportation and its many environmental, economic and social benefits and incorporates these elements into her work. Heidi completed her undergraduate degrees in Environmental Studies and Urban Planning. She also holds a Master of City and Metropolitan Planning from the University of Utah. She specialized in Smart Growth and Transportation and has a Graduate Certificate in Urban Design. In 2013, Heidi turned in her car keys and became a full-time bicycle commuter which has opened her eyes to the benefits and challenges active transportation users face. She aspires to help design and cultivate transportation options in Utah that support resilient urban environments that focus on safety, health and activity. She has been on the board for the Bicycle Collective since 2012 and served as Treasurer until 2017. Heidi currently works for the Department of Transportation working full-time on bicycle and pedestrian issues across the state of Utah.

Shelley Reynolds

I have been serving on the Board of the Bike Collective since January 2013. I have lived in SLC most of my life and have seen the amazing growth and understand the dire need for increased options for functional transportation I bicycle both for transportation and recreation.

I was previously a community partner working with one of the local homeless shelters. I have since changed my role in the community and now help family, colleagues, and friends (new and old) with buying and selling real estate.

I have served as both the Secretary and 2nd Vice President during the previous four years. I love the programs the Bike Collective offers and believe that the BC is a necessary and important organization for the betterment of our cities and State. I would very much enjoy the opportunity to continuing serving on the Board of Directors for the Bicycle Collective and feel that it is a great honor to do so.
