Minister's message...

I was born in Tasmania, and I am proud to be Tasmanian even though I have lived more time in New South Wales than Tassie. I think if I was asked to define where I am from it would still be Tasmania. It is more than just the place where I was born, it is a part of who I am.

I can’t ever imagine that I will ever live in Tasmania again. In fact, I hope I don’t ever have to leave the Coast. But Tassie is a part of who I am.

I think of my faith in similar ways.

Our faith is not what we say.
Our faith is not what we do.
Our faith is who we are.

Its identity is deeper than just words or actions; it is a part of our existence. Our faith is a relationship with a living God. Our faith lives in the light of the resurrected Jesus Christ and it shapes the depth of who we are.

I love the image of God shaping us constantly. Like a potter shapes clay, we are molded in to God's people slowly and constantly over time. It becomes a part of our deep identity. A part of us that just is.

It may take a long time to have that identity embedded, but the delight is that our faith can become a part of who we are.

A message from our Music Pastor...

Hi everyone,

It is with mixed emotions that I let you know I will be resigning from the music ministry at the end of this year. I have been blessed with the opportunity to serve in this role over the past 3 years, and it has been a real privilege to facilitate worship through music over this time.

I will be staying on in my communications and design role, so I'll still be around, and I look forward to seeing what new and exciting things God has planned for us as we welcome in a new music leader next year.

Please join me in praying that our search will be successful and that we will find the right person to take on this role.

2021 Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) Training

Two Foundational training programmes in Pastoral care will be offered on the Central Coast in 2021. There will be an online and a Face-to-Face option. Starting in February students can train in Gosford Hospital and the training can be used towards formal chaplaincy qualifications with the Sydney College of Divinity.  What we offer is an excellent way to develop your pastoral ability and become equipped for ministry with a public or church setting.
