Easter Sunday

Minister's message

There are moments in life that shape who you are - like the day I gave up cabinet making and stated working for the church, or the day that Suzanne and I got married, and of course the birth of each of our 3 children.

These are moments that form me into who I am. Like an artist putting a new layer of paint onto a canvas, my life takes shape and continues to be formed.

In a Christian's life, this weekend is one of those moments of formation. The Easter weekend shapes our faith. We are Easter people, formed by Christ’s death and resurrection.

May you allow the power of this story to refresh you again and lift you into the fullness of life that Jesus offers.

This week we praise God and pray for...

  • Easter services
  • Kids Holiday Club
  • Youth day out
  • Kylie & Seang in Cambodia

Some additional points are listed on our prayer boards at church:

Kids and Youth

Can you help out with our Kids Holiday Club? Some of the things we need assistance with include:
  • Supervision in different activities
  • Assisting children with crafts
  • Assisting children during games
  • Leadership of craft/games/jumping castle time
  • Serving lunch and recess
  • Kitchen duties - food prep and clean up
  • BBQ duties (cooking sausages)
  • Assisting with sign in and out time with parents and children
  • Dropping off food supplies for morning tea (Home cooked covid safe prepared food is now accepted)
  • Pack up crew from 3:30pm
If you can help with one or more of the above please contact Emma -
We have moved the Youth Holiday Club from the original date of 6th April due to the weather forecast. Join us instead on Friday April 16th for a fun day of outdoor activities on the Gosford waterfront!

Service Rosters: May-Oct

The Uniting Church NSW/ACT Synod is starting a new program called Growing Young, which aims to help the church consider how young people are included and discipled within the life of the church.

They have invited us to participate in this program and our leadership team has taken up the offer.

As a result we are asking you to complete this GROWING YOUNG SURVEY sometime over the next 3 weeks. It will take approximately 5-10 minutes to finish.

If you don't have an email or computer please contact the church office so we can arrange for someone to help you.

We hope this process will help us nurture and encourage the young people in our church community.
