Member Collaboration - Professional Learning Resources
The Catholic Learning Online Summit, coordinated by members of the CEnet eLearning Working Group, was a collaborative response to support teachers as they adapt to remote learning and teaching requirements.
In the week following the summit, the coordinating team has been busy preparing video recordings for publication and reviewing data usage, with the assistance of the CEnet Data Team. Some initial insights are provided below.
Over 500 educators participated in the summit, which was held in school holidays for many.
The summit delivered 30 sessions across five days and was designed to enable teachers in CEnet Member Dioceses to join as many or as few sessions as they wished. As the chart above shows, the rate of participation was outstanding.
Twenty-eight one hour session recordings and associated resources are available for teachers in CEnet Member Dioceses, and are located in the Summit website summit.cenet.catholic.edu.au.
The full report on the Catholic Online Learning Summit will be available very soon.
The CEnet ACEN consortium is the second largest Overdrive eBook and audio book consortium in the world, with over 255,000 students having access to curated resources on their computers and mobile devices.
The number of unique readers taking advantage of the eBook library more than doubled in March as students took advantage of access to reading resources while at home.
