CEnet Member Services Portal
The value that CEnet delivers to its member dioceses goes far beyond just the technologies we use each and every day, and sometimes, it can be difficult to know where to go to get the information you need.
To help with this, a new Member Services portal was established this year. This portal seeks to bring all of the collaborative, technical, and member resources together in one place.
Supporting the Member Services portal is a set of sub-sites, covering CEnet's infrastructure, integration, data and application service areas, as well as various resource, strategy, governance and collaborative groups that exist.

Representing Catholic Education
CEnet is recognised as one of the only K-12 networks in our country that spans multiple states, and a territory. Because of this, CEnet is regularly approached for input and representation in strategic initiatives - both at a state and national level.
The diverse nature of the CEnet membership provides a unique opportunity to deliver member-focussed input and feedback into these initiatives. In turn, this assists CEnet member dioceses and their schools to be well-positioned as new services and strategies emerge.
Through our collective state Catholic Education Commissions, and other state and federal bodies, CEnet has represented its member dioceses and the broader Catholic sector in; Online Assessment Working Groups, Data Strategy & Standards Groups (such as those through the National Schools Interoperability Programme), and other national initiatives including but not limited to the Safer Technologies for Schools (ST4S) and Australian Government Unique Student Identifier (USI) projects.
For information on any of these initiatives, please contact us.

Always Available eBooks
As reported last week, readers in the 14 member dioceses using the SORA eBook platform as part of the CEnet ACEN Consortium, now also have access to an 'Always Available' collection which consists of over 100 quality titles including many great Australian titles, picture books and information texts.
The team from The Learning Exchange in the Diocese of Parramatta has developed and shared a logo that is available to assist in raising awareness of the 'Always Available' collection. Another great example of member dioceses sharing and collaborating.
