We’ve been traveling full time in our RV for over 7 months now!
We’ve enjoyed a combination of boondocking (camping with no hookups) and staying at RV parks. Just this last week, we joined a club called Boondockers Welcome. I CANNOT believe it took us this long to join!
People with land or space for RVs can sign up to be a host, and if you’re an RVer looking for a place to camp for a night (or more) you can stay on their property! For FREE. It’s only $30 for a year to be a member!
Lots of hosts even offer amenities such as an electric hookup or water. Some hosts allow you to stay up to 5 nights! I keep talking about how great the RV community is, and seeing all the hosts who are mostly RVers or travelers themselves, is proof of that! Who wouldn’t want to hang out with RVers passing through, and swap stories about their travels and experiences?! I think it’s a great idea and if you want to check it out yourself, you can HERE.
If you want to read about all of the different camping memberships we have, you can do that HERE.
I can’t wait for you to read about our favorite boondocking spot EVER. Alabama Hills. The best hidden gem EVER. Seriously.
Read about our time there HERE!
