“I can shake off everything as I write; my sorrows disappear, my courage is reborn.” — Anne Frank
Welcome 2022! Let's make this year our best year yet!
Come Join Us!
For the safety and comfort of all our members, we currently only meet through Zoom.
Tuesdays with a Twist!
7:00 pm
Tuesdays are totally informal. We socialize, brainstorm, and get some words down on the page with timed writing sprints.
Thursday Gatherings
7:00 pm
Thursdays are a little more formal. We start out with some social time, followed by announcements, and then we split into groups for critiquing and fun writing activities.
Email us for the Zoom links. We sure would love to see you!
Steve's Writing Corner
You can expect Steve's Writing Corner on the first Thursday of every month, where one of our members gives a live reading of an original piece. On the third Thursday of every month, we welcome a guest speaker to share some of their writing-related expertise.
Email us for the Zoom links. We sure would love to see you!
The City of Denton "Texas Storytelling Festival" is supported by The Tejas Storytelling Association and will be conducted March 10--13, 2022. The presentations will be on-line via Zoom. February Speaker
This month, we're so excited to welcome our own Jeanette Smith and her presentation on "The Power of Punctuation."

She specializes in line and copyediting and has worked on manuscripts from nonfiction workbooks to fantasy novellas to Christian memoirs. She is a graduate of Smith College. When not at her computer, you can find Jeanette scuba diving or posting pictures of her cats on Instagram.
