We had a student from every campus at Fall Retreat! Let me repeat that for emphasis - a. student. from. every. campus!! That may not seem like a big deal, but it’s a huge deal! Normally our fall retreats only consist of IUP students. This was our first time having a Penn Highlands student or PSU Altoona student join (since we launched in 2020 and 2022 respectively), but the big news is having an SFU student. We have been praying for years (like 8) for an SFU student to come with us to Fall Retreat. I had been going to SFU for weeks to invite people in person, but no one seemed interested. Then one night (the one night I had to miss SFU Cru) I got the text. It was from an unknown number asking me how to sign up for Fall Retreat. A rush of excitement ran through me as I thought “Could it be?! Could this be a student from SFU?!”. It was! It was so wonderful having students from every campus at Fall Retreat. Students laughed, cried, drew closer to the Lord, and grew closer to each other. Please pray for our students as they each take back what they learned to their campuses (to all of our campuses!). Thanks for your partnership to help make all of this possible!
