In my last letter I asked you to pray for Wendy (name changed for privacy) and the Lord has been answering your prayers! A week after we first met Wendy, Alexis (one of our student leaders) and I decided to spend an hour out on campus to talk with students and trust God to open the door for spiritual conversations. I had been kicking myself for not reaching out to Wendy earlier to follow up with her, but fortunately God’s plans aren’t based on our forethought. As soon as we walked into the cafeteria, the first person Alexis and I saw was Wendy. Out of all the students on campus, Wendy was the one who “just happened” to be sitting right in front of us! Immediately two thoughts went through my head:
“God is so good”
"My ministry partners must be praying for her”.
She was delighted to see Alexis and I and get to talk more about what we had discussed in Bible study a week ago. Over the next hour (before we all headed over to Bible study together), we got to know her better, learn more about her past, and share the Gospel with her. She shared some of the things holding her back from following Jesus, but also said she wanted to keep learning and coming to Bible study. Thank you so much for praying for her, the Lord is definitely answering your prayers! Please continue to pray for her and for the Lord’s perfect timing in her coming to know Him.
