Hello Everyone!

We are getting ready to close out the school year and celebrate our Seniors. This year it seems that we have gone through various stages of school life, from remote, to hybrid, to jamming all school events in a short amount of time. In athletics we have had full seasons condensed to a number of weeks, in Theater we were able to put on an amazing virtual production, in Youth Ministry we hosted virtual class retreats and our first in-person Kairos, to school rallies and field days. Our entire staff have been working tirelessly to bring the Bosco experience to all our young men.

The Salesian mission calls for all educators to always “meet the young where they are,” and at Bosco we strive to live out the charism and address the needs of our entire community. Part of our mission is to create a diverse, inclusive, and equitable environment. Bosco continues to be inclusive of all cultures and identities within our school community. We established a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) group as a subset of our Educative-Pastoral Plan within the Salesian Framework. The team identified three areas of continual growth for the school year: academics, formation, and policy.  In academics we are evaluating curriculum and began by evaluating texts in literature to truly reflect our diverse student population and voices. In the fall we will be offering an upperclassman course, Intersection of Race and Cultural Diversity in the English Department. In the area of formation, our spiritual activities for both students and staff, reflect on being culturally responsive leaders and address issues of social justice. In the past two school years we have made changes in our school policy that is embracing cultural diversity, ethnic backgrounds, and student expression. Part of our mission is to constantly reflect on how we meet the needs of our students, and how to better prepare them for the world around them.  We continue to live out our Salesian mission in striving to embrace diversity as an advantage for our school community.

We wish all our young men success as they finish out their final classes and exams. We also keep the Class of 2021 in our hearts as they enjoy prom, and enter graduation week. Thank you for your continued trust and support.

God Bless,

Mr. Jaramillo '04
Interim Principal

We will be following a traditional graduation ceremony as we have in years past, however will need to adjust seating capacity in the “general seating” area.

Currently all Seniors will receive 2 VIP tickets at the Baccalaureate Mass & Awards on Friday May 21. These tickets are to be used at graduation only. We will offer public seating, but please be aware that space is limited and in the event of overflow, all guests outside of the VIP area will be directed to the intramural field.

Senior Celebration--Wednesday, May 19 at 1pm. This is a mandatory event for all Seniors. We will review all commencement activities and conduct a graduation practice. That day we will also have semester exams, and all students will take their finals virtually. However, we are encouraging seniors to come on campus to take their tests in person, so that they may transition into their senior event that afternoon. We have planned for that afternoon a senior luncheon and an opportunity to ring the traditional Victory Bell in the quad as they culminate their senior year. Bosco Football Golf Classic

The 2021 Bosco Football Golf Classic, the signature fundraising event for our National Championship Football Program will return this summer in a more traditional tournament format; however we will still provide a safe playing environment for our participants and guests.

Last year we made the decision to re-brand the event by separating the Champions Dinner from the Golf Classic. This newly constructed format was highly effective and allowed us to reach a whole new audience of potential benefactors. So, back by popular demand, the 2021 Bosco Football Golf Classic is set!
