Bunkerhill is building an open platform for clinical validation and deployment of AI models for radiology. It will run prospective clinical trials for multiple institutions and integrate algorithms into radiology workflows by introducing a plug & play infrastructure.

This streamlined methodology could promote widespread clinical adoption of AI solutions and help solve the last mile problem for AI in medical imaging.

Radiology AI Road Map

The second part of a research road map for artificial intelligence in medical imaging was recently published in the Journal of the American College of Radiology (JACR) in May 2019. Part one of the road map was released in April 2019.

The report explores current AI challenges and outlines four key priorities for translational research for artificial intelligence in medical imaging.

The purpose of the report is to "help accelerate the safe and effective use of AI in clinical practice." (acr.org)
