This is awesome.
So -- Victoria Lynn and Perry Elisabeth Kirkpatrick are hosting this EPIC sale. There are over 150 ebooks involved and they're all 0.99 or free. They're also planning some giveaways that are really sweet. I'm offering one of my books in the sale as well as one in the giveaway, and from the list of books and authors I've seen -- WOW. I'll be posting on the blog about it soon, so make sure to keep your eyes peeled. You won't want to miss it!

Holidays are insane.
I'm pretty sure I can speak for the majority of the population here, right? Of course, they're fun -- but BUSY! Why do we have to have every social event imaginable in the last month and a half of the year? There are 10 1/2 other options!
This year, I'm navigating the joys of business ownership (ish?...I just realized that I forgot about some paperwork I needed to do...), and the necessary promotion that goes into having a 'successful' holiday season. I'm going to be in the church's youth Christmas play again and we have some other events going on as well. (We also have a month and a few days until the play performance and haven't even seen a script yet soo...PRAY FOR US PLEASE.) On top of festivities, work and school--finals, to be precise--beckon.
Not to mention finding the perfect gifts. Unless you're weird like me and shop for Christmas in August, and then have a sizeable box parked in the middle of your bedroom for the rest of the year. Oops.
It's easy to become Martha here, am I right? Fretting about this and that and making sure your gift-giving game is on point. But that isn't the point of Christmas.
In this chapter, Jesus goes on to tell Martha that her sister, who chose to sit and listen to Jesus speak instead of running around the house preparing dinner for Him -- he tells Martha that her sister is right in her actions. He wants us to spend time with Him, not worrying about the house or gifts or the food or...anything. And really, we're celebrating His birthday. We should be willing to give that time up, and I think we'll be a lot less stressed if we do. I know that this chapter of the Bible isn't about Christmas, but it's fitting, isn't it?
What do you plan to do in order to relax this holiday season?

Prepping for Black Friday/Cyber Monday?
Whether you're a shopper or a seller...whew. I'm offering lots of deals on my books, but that doesn't mean I have it together.
At all.
Yesterday I told myself, "Black Friday's like two weeks out, I don't need to stress over getting all this stuff for the sales figured out."
WRONG.
My inbox has been flooded with pre-sales and pre-pre-pre sales and Veterans' Day sales that spill into the end of the year...
So I promise to go light on the advertising. At least for my own books. (Well, I'll be cheerleading for everyone else's in that huge sale I mentioned at the beginning of this, but that's just who I am.)
So if you want some good reads or know someone who might like a book or two, y'know what's up over here. Oh -- and between you and me, the Amazon sale prices for the paperbacks will probably go live in the next couple of days--before the sale "starts", so you can take advantage of that if you'd like.
