Welcome to our first week of Summer at the Acres. Many, many volunteers and staff have worked diligently to make the sure the property is ready. They have all done a great job.
Our theme for 2020 is RENEW from Romans 12:1-2 (MSG)
'So, here's what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life - your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking around life - and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for Him. Don't become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention to God. You'll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its levels of immaturity. God brings out the best of you, develops well-formed maturing in you.'
On behalf of the Ministry and Park boards, we welcome you and pray your time at Wesley Acres will enable you to enjoy this beautiful property, our community and experience God in new and fresh ways.
Thanks to all of you who participated in the survey regarding Sunday Services. The deferral side won in landslide - with most saying just wait a few weeks and many saying hey were not in any rush.

As Wesley Acres values our Sunday Service time, we are requesting that there be no waterfront or boating activities between 10 and 11 AM. We thank you for setting aside this time to worship in other ways.
GIFT CARDS for Smitty's & Tuck Shop
As we indicated in yesterday's email, we are going to try our best to be 'cashless' in 2020, for the safety of those handling food. You can load up your gift card anytime you are ready. Call 613-393-3159 x 24 for Wannett or visit the office during our open hours (11 am to 2 pm). Debit and Credit cards are also accepted.
Staff is in training, kitchen and candies are stocked, Kawartha ice cream is in the freezer and apple, raspberry and blueberry pies are cooling. Did I mention that Melissa also made butter tarts!
WATER
We are blessed with a terrific water system at Wesley Acres. However, during this upcoming busy weekend, we ask that you not water lawns and really be careful with garden watering.
