It's the last month of the second decade of the 21st Century. Yep, it's December already!!!
Corrine and I are so thankful for all of the support we've received from the community, our friends and family. It's hard to believe that at this time last year, we would have accomplished so much in 2019. It was on Dec. 4th, 2018 that heat was turned on it the building for the first time in over 13 years. While there are still lots of places that are without a dedicated heating system, most of the regularly used spaces in Churchill now have some kind of heat.
We've added a donate button to our website and you can read more about what we're currently raising funds for on the About Page and how you can help continue to save Churchill School.
This month we're featuring the whimsical and hilarious artwork of Jeff Leedy. The opening is Dec. 6th starting at 5:30 pm
On Friday Dec. 13th we're hosting an encore screening of the film No Small Matter. It's free and open to the public. 10 am
Jay Fleming and band will play the last concert of the year on Dec. 14th in the Churchill Dancehall. Tickets are on sale at Sweet Wife Baking and MC Taco Bus or on-line at our website. $8 in advance and $10 at the door.
This Sunday Dec. 8th is 2nd Sunday Trivia Night. The theme is "Cults" it's bound to be a blast and trivial :) It's free to play and watch.
Lastly we'll close out the month and decade with Shane Cunningham and a night of Western Swing and Line Dancing on Dec. 31st.
Once again thank you to all of you who have helped bring life back into Churchill School for all to enjoy.
Sincerely, Brian and Corrine-
