Coming Up at the Ruth Williams Memorial Theater
Community members of all ages are invited to participate in FREE Strutting and Rapping Workshops presented by Lonnie "Poptart" Green and Rahman Jamaal! Participants will learn the fundamentals of Strutting, Boogaloo and Robottin from 4pm - 6:30pm and then from 7:30pm - 9:00pm learn how to weave their words into original rhymes. Did we mention dinner is also included? Use the QR Code to register. 
BVOH is proud to be a newly established partner of the Pop-Up Resource Village that takes place every Second Saturday in front of 100% College Prep (and has now expanded to BVOH). 
This day we will be amplifying both Baby Safety Awareness Month and Latinx History Month as well. Come on out for free services and resources. 
On Sunday, September 11th The Dynamic Miss Faye Carol will be coming with her all-star trio and special guest emcee RyanNicole Austin to the Ruth Williams Memorial Theater FOR FREE!

Line Dancing returns to The Ruth Williams Memorial Theater! Beginning Monday, September 12th you can start your week off right with Monday Night "LIVE" Soul Line Dancing instructed by Valida Holmes. 

Classes are from 6:00pm - 7:30pm. Suggested donation $5, no one turned away for lack of funds. 
Starting Tuesday, September 13th you can get Hyphy the right way at Turf-N-Turn-Up with Bayview Native DopeyFresh! 

From 5:00pm - 7:00pm participants will learn fundamentals of Turf Dancing as well as original choreography and the dynamics of dance battles. Classes are free and open to the public!

APPLICATIONS ARE NOW OPEN FOR TOOLS OF THE TRADE!!! If you are interested in learning production skills such as sound engineering, live mixing, lighting design, stage management etc and/or writing and performance techniques then Tools of the Trade is where you want to be.
