Art and Culture As We Shelter In Place

Dance. Music. Theatre.
Thursday, June 11th, 2020
This map shows the 2,963 cities or towns that have protested between May 25th, 2020 and June 11th, 2020.

Communities across the nation have unified and mobilized to hold peaceful protests to speak out against police brutality and the injustices caused by historic and systemic racism.

We hold you in our hearts and minds during this time.
Love, Strength, and Power to you all.

I am so tired of waiting,
Aren’t you,
For the world to become good
And beautiful and kind?
Let us take a knife
And cut the world in two –
And see what worms are eating
At the rind.

—"Tired," Langston Hughes

We stand with our brothers and sisters currently in the fight for change and reform and we also encourage you to keep your mental, physical and spiritual health in the forefront of your mind and we hope the resources we list in this email can assist with that.
