TUESDAY MORNING MEN'S BIBLE STUDY

Our Men's Ministry is starting a new Tuesday Morning Bible Study at Johnny B's Restaurant in downtown Texarkana. The men will meet every Tuesday morning at 6:00 a.m. The study is on the Book of John. Each week they will study a new chapter. Click here to learn more.

SNOW MUCH FUN FOR TRINITY KIDS
|
|
|
|
Wednesday night is going to be "snow" much fun at Trinity Baptist Church for our Trinity Kids! The Grow Class theme for their Wednesday night class is "Super Winter Wednesday". Children in our preschool program through 5th grade will enjoy an evening full of fellowship with activities based around SNOW! Drop-off is in the Church Gym at 6:00 p.m. You're encouraged to help your child invite a friend to church that night. Postcards to share with friends are available at the East Entrance church welcome desk.

SPAIN MISSION TRIP INTEREST MEETING
|
|
|
Our Missions Committee is planning a Mission Trip to Spain this fall. We will hold an interest meeting immediately following the Worship Service on Sunday, January 29th in Room 104. The final dates for the trip will be determined after the interest meeting, but tentative dates are seven days between August 26th and September 9th.
On this trip, you will support Missionaries Greg and Amy Royal, who are currently serving in Spain. Activities will include helping with a Vacation Bible School program and assisting with various community outreach activities. The Missions Team will serve in the beautiful suburbs of Madrid in the towns of Alcalá de Henares and Torrejón de Ardoz.

HIGH SCHOOL & COLLEGE LIFE GROUPS
|
|
|
|
Our High School & College Life Groups meet every other Sunday night in the homes of various church members from 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. They will start meeting again on January 22nd. Students should contact their leader for the address of the home. If you know a high school or college student, encourage inviting them to attend Life Groups. TRINITY VALENTINE'S BANQUET
|
|
|
|
The Trailblazers are hosting a Valentine's Banquet on Tuesday, February 14th from 6:00-8:00 p.m. in the Chapel. Tickets are required and include dinner, entertainment, and amazing fellowship. You can purchase tickets online or in the church office. Cost is $15 per person or $25 per couple. To ensure we have enough food, all tickets must be purchased by February 8th.

During our Annual Business Meeting, three new members were elected to the Administrative Leadership Team (ALT). If you see Richard Hodde, Nick Brocato, or Nick Hyman, please thank them for agreeing to serve in their new roles.

MISSION OF THE MONTH: MOSAIC CHURCH
|
|
|
We are excited to share that our Mission of the Month for January is Mosaic Church in Texarkana. On May 16, 2021, Trinity Baptist Church donated $10,000 to support Mosaic Church in their church plant. Supporting churches play an essential role in church plantings being fruitful. Healthy church plants will testify to the vital impact of supporting church partnerships in their journey to self-sustainability.
Members of the Southern Baptists of Texas Convention, Mosaic Church has seen growth since their first Worship Service with only 7 families in it back in 2021. Today, they are a diverse group of people from different backgrounds, differing stages of life, and different legs of their spiritual journeys. Their church body comes together and stays connected through each member’s bond with Christ. As a church, the members celebrate their differences and embrace their diversity.
Below are ways you can continue to support Mosaic Church:
1. Pray for Resources
Pray the church receives the resources they need to serve the Wake Village, Texas community and to sustain their continued growth.
2. Pray for Discernment
Pray the church is presented with opportunities to connect within the Wake Village, Texas community, along with the guidance to discern which opportunities are best suited to make disciples.
3. Pray for Kingdom Growth
Pray the church continues to grow and bring in people from across the greater
Texarkana area, so the church may expand over time and start a church planting
movement across the region.
4. Support Their Mission
There is much joy and excitement that comes from seeing God bring something out of nothing. Trinity Baptist Church members have been blessed to share in the experience of having been there when Mosaic Church first opened their doors. Supporting missions in our local area is important. Your donations to Mosaic Church this month will help bring people in our own community come to faith in Christ through the outreach of this church plant.
