CSP police officers seize cash and drugs from "suspicious" vehicle
Police officers with the Epping Forest Community Safety Partnership Team have recovered cash and drugs after noticing a "suspicious" vehicle in Loughton.

The officers were undertaking so-called 'disruption patrols' targeting burglaries and robberies in Loughton yesterday afternoon when they became aware of a suspicious vehicle near Felstead Road.

After following the vehicle for a short time, the officers indicated for the vehicle to stop but it accelerated away "at speed" before the driver ran off.

Officers found drugs and cash in the vehicle.

PC Fin Foley said: "This is part of an ongoing tasking for the team which are funded and based at Epping Forest District Council and are part of the Epping Community Safety Partnership.

"This incident is just a small part of our ongoing fight to disrupt county lines coming into our district."
