Magnolia's Defining Elements: All Girls School
Over the coming weeks, we'll be highlighting each of Magnolia School's Defining Elements here in The Monarch to give our readers a closer look at what makes Magnolia unique and beautiful. This week's element is our model of an all-girls school.

Magnolia School fosters a supportive and encouraging attitude towards learning and personal growth. In the all-girls environment, students are more actively engaged in intellectual, social, and co-curricular activities.

Magnolia girls are taught to take risks, get involved, and serve others. This kind of engagement keeps girls motivated, helps them build confidence and resilience, and prepares them for life beyond graduation.

"As a college professor I could identify the students from girls' schools with a 90 percent accuracy rate on the first day of class.  They were the young women whose hands shot up in the air, who were not afraid to defend their positions, and who assumed that I would be interested in their perspective."

Dr. Robin Robertson, Professor, Louisiana State University and
Girls' School Principal

Camp Bluebonnet 2021

Camp Bluebonnet is a one-week leadership summer camp that seeks to motivate and challenge the participants to be young women with ideals of solidarity, leadership, and service. Inspired by the Christian understanding of the dignity of each person, the camp teaches the virtues needed to become a positive influence on family, friends, and society. This year, Camp Bluebonnet is celebrating its 30th anniversary of having accompanied many parents in educating their daughters in virtue in a wholesome and fun environment.
