FALL/WINTER 2021

USA
In September, Dave and Joan Betts, Ozzie Cinko, and Javier and Sandy Estrada shared at Pastor Eduardo's Church in Santa Ana, California.  (We met Pastor Eduardo in August when he came to visit with our Director in Mexico, Pastor Daniel Perez.)  The service ended up being a great time of prayer and they have been invited back to share again in January.  On November 4th, Sandi Mahlow was invited to share about the Timothy II work at South Shores Church in Dana Point where Steve Dixon joined her.  Sandi also got to share at her home church, City Gate, in Santa Ana on November 7th.

Fall seemed to be the season for weddings.  In September, Ozzie and Toni Cinko's granddaughter, Shauna, married Curren Booth.  On November 20th, Phil and Sandi Mahlow's son, Jon, married Shanna Roenicke, and on November 27th, Dave and Joan Betts' son, Micah, married Dana Estrada.  It's been a very exciting time for all of us!

INDIA
In October, Pastor N. David, our Timothy II Director in India, held a Leadership meeting in Bangalore regarding the persecution they are experiencing due to their government's anti-conversion bill.  The government has included actions like feeding the poor or helping others as deeds that "influence" people to convert.  The Pastors and Leaders held a civil protest to keep their religious freedoms.  Prayers are appreciated.

CEBU, PHILIPPINES

Our Timothy II Director in the Philippines, Pastor Bert Montillano continues with the Biblical mandate to preach the word, give to the needy, and to disciple converts.  It was with great joy that they were able to get a large boat for their many evangelistic outreaches to reach the smaller islands around them.  Pastor Bert just sent us an update.  He wrote how God has done amazing things in their ministry even though the pandemic made many people scared, ironically it served as a huge revival for souls to come to Jesus.
Their graduates of the TIMOTHY II SCHOOL OF MINISTRY are very active in evangelism. One of their churches in the mountain areas is filled with people every Sunday Service. Signs, wonders, miracles, and demons being cast out are showing the people the power of God.  On December 27, they will sail to the island of Bohol for a three day seminar. Bert said that people have been waiting for this seminar for almost two years due to the pandemic. Please keep them in your prayers as some of their churches need repairs from the recent typhoon that hit their area.

SOUTHERN MEXICO

Our Timothy II Directors in Northern and Southern Mexico continue to impress us with all that they are doing.  Pastor Daniel Perez in Southern Mexico had a small graduation from his Bible College and a special worship service in Huasteca Potosina in October.  In early December, he was given funds to give to those in need, and Pastor Daniel wasted no time giving.  One man who was assaulted was able to pay for medical attention, children and families had a Christmas celebration, a pastor in need was helped, as well as many others who they knew were in need received monetary assistance or needed blankets.

NORTHERN MEXICO

Pastor Herminio Castillo, our Director in Northern Mexico recently got back from an outreach in the rural mountain areas of Northern Mexico.  He reported that it was a very productive trip as they shared the Gospel in different villages.  He was able to baptize people along the way.  When he got back from the mountains, he had meetings and fellowship with many students.  Pastor Herminio is planning to be here in January, and we are really looking forward to seeing him again.

UGANDA
Our Director in Uganda, Pastor Moses Awuyo was able to attend a conference for Leaders in Cape Town, South Africa.  Ron Cline, the Pastor of Missions at South Shores Church invited Moses to this conference. Moses has continued with the work of the ministry, handing out clothing to the needy and attending to his orphanage, as well as his church.  We were very happy that he was able to get some time to be refreshed and encouraged.  Thank you, Ron!
SPAIN/PAKISTAN
Our Timothy II Director in Spain and Pakistan is doing well.  As a refugee in Spain, his large family still has a difficult time with finances, but he reports that God is good and providing his needs.  Right now, he is gathering funds to send blankets to the brick kiln slaves in Pakistan.  His Christian school in Pakistan continues to do well, in spite of persecution.  Please continue to pray for the persecuted church in Pakistan, as well as the beautiful outreach that Brother Andrew does with the refugees in Spain.
MYANMAR/THAILAND
Pastor Win, our Director in Myanmar and Thailand has kept us up to date on all that has been going on in Myanmar as the military coup is ongoing.  Bombs are dropping very close to his house and many refugee camps have seen the military keeping families on the run as they spray their bullets to cause people to flee.  In spite of this, Pastor Win continues his Zoom Bible studies, gives to the refugees, and braves the hard circumstances that he, his family, and his nation are in.  Myanmar is not making headline news anymore, but that does not mean that everything is well.  Please pray for this precious nation.
"For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given, and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.”
Merry Christmas from the Timothy II Team!
