In the Spotlight

Looking Back: AAA Play is now state wide

One month in and we've already made waves around regional Victoria. The number of accessible activities available across Victoria has increased by more than 20%, offering a better choice than ever before.

As always, AAA Play is a free service and the increase in reach has meant we've seen visitors from Ballarat, Geelong, Pakenham, Bendigo, Shepparton, Mildura, Horsham, Drouin, Morwell, Sale, Wangaratta and Warrnambool, just to name a few. If you live in regional Victoria or know someone who does, be sure to check it out.

Looking Forward: AAA Hockey heads west

Hockey Victoria is piloting their very first AAA Hockey Sixers program in Footscray, starting on October 15th. The launch of new AAA programs across the state is testament to the demand for sport and recreation opportunities from people with disabilities.

The program is tailored to promote a sense of belonging, fun and friendship for people with a disability while enabling them to improve their motor and social skills in an inclusive environment. We need to show our support for such initiatives and get behind new ventures to ensure we can continue to grow the sector.
