PEARC22 Call for Participation

Please read this important update about what to expect when submitting to the PEARC Technical Program. More details about updates, requirements, FAQs, and contact information regarding our CFP can be found below:
Important Notes on Deadlines:
First submission deadline is for Tutorials and Workshops on January 21.
We are continuing the precedent set last year and will not be extending any CFP deadlines.

The deadline for full papers has been moved up this year to allow any full paper that is declined for acceptance the opportunity to be resubmitted as a short paper (two weeks in between). We think this simplifies the submission process, and we look forward to seeing important work shared with the community. If you have any questions about the submission process, please contact the technical or student committee, depending on which area you are applying to.

Workshop FAQ

Q: If I am organizing a workshop, will the workshop papers be published in the conference proceedings?

A: Not automatically. There is a separate ACM process for workshops to publish their papers. Please click here for details.

Contact Workshops

PEARC22 marks 16 years since the first TeraGrid/XSEDE/PEARC conference. In that time, a variety of new visual and Web technologies have transformed expectations for where, when, and how audiences can interact with data visualizations. In recognition of this transformation, the PEARC Visualization Showcase has been reimagined as PEARC Interact!

In lieu of the traditional videos of prior showcases, PEARC Interact! seeks submissions of interactive, online presentations of data in a variety of formats, including: real-time dashboards; live computational notebooks; Web-based VR and AR; 360-degree, stereoscopic, and branching videos; ultra-resolution and multi-view imagery; annotated Web-based 3D models and environments; and Web-based, interactive scientific and information visualizations.

PEARC Interact! encourages submissions from students as well as from researchers, technologists, and other practitioners. For more information and an expanded set of examples, please click here.

Please consider submitting your previously unpublished work to the Systems and Systems Software Tracks of PEARC22. Topics of interest for full and short paper formats include cyberinfrastructure solutions and systems, including storage, cluster computing, cloud computing, databases, research network, security, and virtual and/or physical systems. Paper submissions can be on established systems (e.g., lessons learned) or new research in systems operations. Full papers represent significant contributions to the field, whereas short papers are an opportunity for you to enter interesting findings from works in progress. All Systems and Systems Software track submissions are peer-reviewed and will be included in the PEARC22 proceedings. Full papers are due on February 18, 2022, and short papers are due on April 8, 2022. The author notification for full papers will be sent out on March 25. If your paper is not accepted, you will have an opportunity to rewrite and resubmit it to the short papers track by April 8. We look forward to reading about your work! View more information in the Call for Participation. Please reach out with any additional questions.
