From Stove to Table: Earthenware Pots & Iron Pans That Cook & Serve All in One

Cooking protein, starches and vegetables every night can take a lot of time–and dishes.  But the one pot meal lets home cooks craft diverse and nutritious meals while keeping time behind the stove and in the sink to a minimum.  After a very long wait, we've finally restocked our two most popular donabe clay cooking pots–the kamado rice cooker and large steamer that easily doubles as a general hotpot for family-sized meals.
For anyone needing single-sized portions, the Jiu Jiu iron plates with detachable wooden handles are great for delicious one-pan cooking. Both the donabes and Jiu Jiu pans can be served directly at the table for an elegant culinary presentation.  Just remember your hot pots need a trivet to protect your surfaces when you're ready to serve!  See our full selection of one pot cooking vessels and accessories at the jump.

Donabe Cookbook Back on Our Shelves & Taku's Sale Dates: Sep 22, 23 + 24

We've re-stocked our favorite book on Japanese Donabe Cooking by our friend Naoko Moore.  Each delicious dish is stunningly photographed, but the real beauty of this cookbook is how the joy of cooking is always at its center.  With donabes, the magic is always in the method!
