The return of spring brings with it a bounty of colors, and we're inspired to celebrate with this simple and fun craft project using natural dye. At Tortoise we always keep a design conscious eye, so we love using TGS products in multi-functional ways like these rustic natural-dye eggs!

Most of the natural dye ingredients we chose can be found in your pantry or at a local market, and for decorations, we found that our store's blue tape was an effective way to make patterns. Our Sori Yanagi stainless steel kitchen tools worked great at cooking our dyeing solution, and our stackable HASAMI PORCELAIN plates and bowls were essential when portioning out ingredients and keeping our eggs from rolling off the table.
