Farewell Dr. Weil
The doctors and staff of Piedmont Pediatrics are so sad as we approach Dr Weil’s retirement; however, we are so excited for him as he heads into this next phase of life!!
Dr. Weil has been an amazing leader at our practice as well as in the greater Atlanta medical community for over 30 YEARS!! His medical expertise, his business guidance, his honorable character, his dedicated compassion and commitment to children and their families, and of course, his humor, have been immeasurable assets for our Piedmont Pediatrics family - We will all miss him so much.
We wish we could have a retirement party that would allow patients to come see Dr. Weil for one last time, but unfortunately, with COVID, that is not possible. Instead, we would like to ask his patients to consider sending in a note or picture to express your appreciation for him and his role as your family’s pediatrician. We will collect these notes into a SURPRISE keepsake gift to present to Dr. Weil- Shhhh!
A Personal message from
Dr. Richard Weil
"After 31 years at Piedmont Pediatrics, I have decided to retire at the end of August 2020. This decision is bitter-sweet, as I have enjoyed taking care of your children and getting to know your families, but as I am turning 70 this August, the time has come to step away and begin a new chapter of my life. I will miss the daily interactions with my partners and staff and especially the children and parents. I take comfort in knowing that I am leaving you in the capable hands of my partners. I can recommend them all and will leave it up to you to decide which one you will have your children see in the future.
It has truly been my honor and privilege to have served as your pediatrician and wish you all happiness and good health in the future.
Richard L. Weil, M.D."
