‘Thank you’ for Contributions to St. John’s Pantry Appeal
Many thanks to all who have so generously contributed food to the St. John’s Pantry Appeal over recent months. We estimate that well over $12,000 in food and other goods has been donated, and more than $5,000 in cash donations have been received and passed on to our partner agencies. Thank you for your generous support!

We will no longer be receiving donations in the church car park each Monday and Friday, but encourage you, as the church is now open, to continue to bring your gifts each Sunday, placing them in the basket near the font. This is still a tough time for our community and the more generous you are the more people we can help.

And yes, you can still make a cash donation to the Appeal, that will be used to buy food for those struggling to make ends meet this Christmas. Please contact the Parish Office for detail on making a tax-deductible donation.

Christmas Gifts for Anglicare
St John’s is collecting donations of Christmas gifts suitable for children and adults. Gifts can still be brought this week but are needed now, so they can be distributed in time for Christmas. Some suggestions are: books for teenagers, girls especially textas, coloured stickers, pencils, and craft activities. Gifts should be identified or come unwrapped (with paper), so they can be appropriately allocated, and as they are hoping donations will arrive by 7 December, please consider donating soon!

Your support for Anglicare is very much appreciated!

‘My Weekly Offering’ Envelopes
Those who wish to receive ‘My Weekly Offering’ envelopes are asked to please contact the Parish Office for further information or to arrange collection. You can telephone the Parish Office on collect or email at office@stjohnscamberwell.org.au.
