REMINDER ~ Quarterly Congregational Meeting: During the Sunday School hour on January 24, we will hold our quarterly congregational meeting in the sanctuary. In addition to brief regular ministry reports, Pastor Bruce will make a presentation on the “State of the Church” as EFCMM moves into 2021. This will not be live-streamed, but it will be recorded. You may request a link to the presentation if you are unable to attend. NO Adult classes will meet; classes for children and youth will meet as usual.

Nursery care is offered.

On-line worship is available on Facebook and You Tube.

For sanctuary and balcony seating, use the south entrance to the building. Please sit only in pews where bulletins are placed.
For Fellowship Hall seating, please use the north entrance. All tables in the Fellowship Hall are open for seating.
We are no longer asking the Fellowship Hall class to remain there for the service. Instead, we are asking everyone to consider sitting in the Fellowship Hall once a month for the worship service.

Sermon
Daniel 3 contains one of the most famous episodes in all of the Old Testament: Shadrach, Meshach, Abednego and the fiery furnace. It might sound like a story for kids, but it’s a powerful testimony of courageous faith in a rescuing God. It’s a story we desperately need in light of the pressures we face today.

As you are able, please remember your offering, which is both an act of worship and partnership in the mission. For those gathered at the church building, offering boxes will be available to receive your offering. For those at home, we have our online giving option, but of course you can still mail us a check if you prefer. Our mailing address is 102 S Seminary Avenue, Mt. Morris, IL 61054. Remember that any gifts for our Helping Hand fund need to be designated as such.

Small Group Ministry

The spring semester of our Small Group Ministry begins Sunday, January 31; most groups meet every other week. Watch for specific details from your small group leader. Some groups are open to new members; to join a small group, please contact us.
