Please join us in person or online for our annual Missions Festival of Praise this Sunday, November 15.  This event is a great opportunity for us to rejoice together in “the advance of the gospel” in our region and around the world. We have two local missionaries joining us:
  • Sunday School (8:45 AM):  Chaplain Jay LeRette, Transport for Christ, Rochelle Petro.
    • The presentation will be available in both the sanctuary and Fellowship Hall.
    • Please be seated in the classroom you attend for Sunday School.
    • Our Youth will be joining us for the presentation; we ask all youth to sit with their families.
    • NOTE:  This presentation will NOT be live-streamed; it will be available to view via a link we will provide later in the week.
  • Worship (10:00 AM):  Our missionary, Tracy Singleton (Action International Ministries, Zambia), will be preaching from 2 Corinthians 5:16 – 6:2.  The work of taking the gospel around the world is more than spreading information about Jesus and making converts to a particular religion.  We are participating in the divine drama of the message and ministry of reconciliation.

A highlight of our Missions Festival is our special offering, given for both a missions project and a capital improvements project.  Our prayer goal for this year is $21,000 to be allocated as follows:
  • $8,000 –Ministry to the Turkish community in Germany
  • $2,000 – Rochelle Petro Chapel
  • $10,000 – Sanctuary seating
  • $1,000 – Our community gift will bless our public school teachers at D. L. Rahn in Mt. Morris with a gift card for school supplies.
Whether or not you can attend this Sunday, you may make your gift at any time.  The fund can receive gifts through December 31.  Please make your check payable to EFCMM.
  • In Person:  Mark your gift "MFOP" and put in any offering box.  We do plan to announce our offering total at the close of the service, and you will have an opportunity to make your gift during the service.
  • Online:  Use our online giving option
  • Mail:  Mail your MFOP check to EFCMM:  102 S. Seminary Ave., Mt. Morris, IL  61054
Even if you are not able to give, let’s strengthen our “partnership in the gospel,” united in the ministry at EFCMM and beyond.

There is no evening meal, program or youth group.
