FOR SUNDAY, MAY 17
EFCMM continues to follow state government guidelines regarding large-group gatherings through the month of May.  Please join us on-line for worship on Sunday at 10:00 AM.  You can find us on Facebook or You Tube.  If you invite someone to join you, please gather responsibly.

Sunday Morning - Sermon
Ruth 4 is the end of one short story in the Old Testament, but it only points to the bigger story that continues through the rest of the Scriptures and beyond.  Knowing that you and I are part of that bigger story can give us confidence and hope as we go through the ups and downs of our brief chapter.

Sunday Evening
  • 5:00 PM  Youth Group (Virtual)
  • 5:00 PM  Wehler Small Group (Virtual)

Reminders
  • Honoring Our Graduates:  If you have an eighth-grade, high school or college graduate in your family, please inform the church office by May 18.  Even though it may look different this year, we intend to honor our high school graduates in some way.
  • Samuel Soldiers:  While we don’t know if/when we will hold Promotion Exercises, we do want to continue our practice of presenting a Bible to our graduating fourth-grade students.  This year we have 4 students who will each need a Samuel Soldier:  Micah Dusing, Joely Ortgiesen, Alden Thurman and David Wehler.  Samuel Soldiers will help purchase the Bible ($15) and pray for the student.  Contact Debbie Steingraber or the church office to volunteer.

Looking Ahead
  • May 24:  Pastor Logan will be preaching, with Lance Mennen leading worship.
  • May 31:  Pastor Bruce begins our summer series in the book of James.

Giving
Thank you for your faithful giving to EFCMM during these uncertain times.  Your generosity is a gracious reminder of God's provision and care for his family, the church.  As you are able, please remember your offering, which is both an act of worship and partnership in the mission. This might be the time to try our online giving option (which you can always find on our website), but of course you can still mail us a check if you prefer.  Our mailing address is 102 S Seminary Avenue, Mt. Morris, IL  61054.

Worth a Look...

EFCMM Memories...
Memories can help keep us close while practicing social distancing.

In 2005, we put together a team to play in a church softball league!  Does anyone remember if we won the tournament that year?
