Pardon our Dust
Our sanctuary will be "under construction" this Sunday as we continue our renovations. The center pews will be open for seating. Chairs will also be available on both the north and south sides of the sanctuary. The balcony will be open only to our A/V team members and their families. All tables in the Fellowship Hall are open for seating.

This Sunday, we will celebrate communion and receive our Helping Hand offering for the needy in our church and community. For those at the church building, please pick up your communion cup as you enter the sanctuary. Those at home may partake by using items you have at home - bread and juice.

Sermon
There’s a new king in Babylon, but it’s the same old story—only worse. In Daniel 4, King Nebuchadnezzar turned from pride to praise, recognizing the sovereign grace of God in his life. In chapter 5, our text for this week, King Belshazzar’s pride takes him from decadence and denial to destruction. For this king and his kingdom, the writing’s on the wall: The proud may have their day, but God says they are doomed.

Giving
As you are able, please remember your offering, which is both an act of worship and partnership in the mission. For those gathered at the church building, offering boxes will be available to receive your offering. For those at home, we have our online giving option, but you can still mail us a check if you prefer. Our mailing address is 102 S Seminary Avenue, Mt. Morris, IL 61054. Remember that any gifts for our Helping Hand fund need to be designated as such.

Treats for EFCMM Youth Group
Here's a simple and practical way you can serve and encourage the young people of our church family - provide snacks for Youth Group once a quarter! Snacks can be prepackaged or home-made, but should not include nuts or peanut butter - a couple of bags of chips with dip, individually packaged cookie snacks, pretzels, brownies - you get the idea. Even if you are not attending in-person, you can still have a part by dropping off the snacks at the church office during the week. Volunteer here.
