This Week at Saint Paul Lutheran Church

UPDATED WORSHIP PROTOCOLS
At the council meeting this week, we discussed our worship protocols and returning closer to what it was like before the pandemic hit. Masks are still welcome but not required. We will no longer have pews roped off in the front but trust that those wishing to have more space will be able to spread out accordingly. Offering will still be collected at the back of the sanctuary. The blue pew books will be returning so we can better keep track of who attended worship in person and who might be visitors. Those who are able, are invited forward for communion, one-half of the sanctuary at a time. There will be a basket of the plastic cups at the front, please grab a cup, Pastor Tamara will be distributing the wafers and the communion assistants will pour the wine or grape juice into your cup. There will be small trash cans on the outside isles to place your cup in as you return to your seat. If you prefer the prepackaged elements, they will be located near the cups in the front so that you may receive a no contact communion blessing. Please let Pastor Tamara know if you have any questions about any of these updates.

THE BIGGEST OF THANK YOUS!!!
I would like to say thank you very much for hosting the service in which I was ordained, here at Saint Paul's. Thank you for all the work you each put into getting the space ready, hosting the wonderful reception, being part of the celebration, well wishes, and for those that were part of the choir. During the choir anthem, the Bishop turned to me and said excitedly, "they are really good!" and I would have to agree with her on that. I am truly blown away by all of you and thank God that we are here doing ministry in the world and this community together!
