The sun has come out here in Seattle, so we are scrupulously checking our sunscreen for UVA and UVB protection while we harvest the rhubarb.
We've had some great shows this past month, including a mini-tour with Olympia band The Beauty, a fun fundraiser show for the King County Coalition on Homelessness, a cozy house show, and a kugel-themed backyard show complete with the tastiest of cholesterol and an aptly-timed fighter-jet flyover. If you are new to our email list, welcome and thank you!
We play Seattle one more time before we embark on our Grand (6 show..) East Coast Tour! We'll arrive East in mid-August and start off with a show in Hannah's hometown of Somerville, MA on 8/18, then we'll head to KlezKanada. We are so excited to return to this magical place to study Yiddish and music and connect with coconspirators. Finally, we'll bounce down the coast for a week of shows before we fly back home in September.
If your walls are looking drab, feel free to decorate them with our rad tour poster (below). It has information about our GECT which you might need. Do notice the tri-seated-bicycle. We are gonna drive, but our instruments have insisted on biking. We will support them at 20-mile intervals with snack bars and of course tune-ups.
Seattleites, come send us off at Copious in Ballard with The Spectacles on 8/12, it will be an intimate and harmonious time. And if you are on the East coast, please come see us, or share our tour dates with your friends in these cities. We want to see you!

We are very excited to share A Night of Three-Part Harmony with The Spectacles. House show - Reply to this email for the address
We're joining our friends Burikes, some of whom we met last year at KlezKanada, for a house show full of Yiddish melody, Balkan rhythm, and multilingual puns. We are looking forward to being in the Pioneer Valley, home of the Yiddish Book Center and Hampshire College (2/3 of our alma maters. Almae matres?) And we hope to have time to swing by Deals & Steals and Haymarket, and to mourn the loss of Kathy's.
Donation jar at the door.
