Welcome to our latest newsletter! In this issue you can read about:
  • our new Parent Hub, with info and advice for parents, teachers and students on bullying

We’re pleased to introduce the Parent Hub, a great educational site for parents looking to learn more about what kids are likely to see online, proudly brought to you by Dolly’s Dream.

Kate and Tick have welcomed a first of its kind anti-bullying video created by teens for teens.

Following last week’s #WordsCanHurt film launch, a teen web forum was hosted on YouTube on 25 September. Fifteen-year-old filmmaker Charlotte McLaverty was joined by YouTube stars (and fellow teens) Georgia Productions and Cartia Millan to discuss the film and the issue of cyber bullying, continuing the theme of teens talking to teens.

More than 5,000 tuned in to join the conversation. Follow our Facebook page and be the first to know about upcoming forums

Get a rare look at yesteryear when Old Errowanbang Homestead in Carcoar NSW opens its doors to the public for the first time on 2-3 November to raise funds for Dolly’s Dream. Constructed from cow hair and mud, shingles and cedar, owner Jann Harries has been waiting to do something for our “fantastic cause”, helping communities find kindness in trying times. This is the first and last time the homestead will be open to the public. For more info, email Jann.
