So I decided to wait a few weeks to send the next newsletter so that I wasn't emailing you all too to often. Since the last newsletter went out my main focus has been on my YouTube channel.
Understanding Laravel Collections
Back on the 19th I finally got around to recording and uploading my talk on Understanding Laravel Collections. This is a talk I gave last summer at both Tampa Bay PHP and Tampa Bay Laravel. Since then, it's come up a few times that people who missed the presentation have asked if it's available somewhere online. So now it is. You can also view the code examples and the slides.
Building Logbook with Laravel and TDD
Also over the last few weeks I've continued working on my Building Logbook with Laravel and TDD series. The new videos are A Working UI as well as Update & Delete Entries. Both of these videos together finish driving out the basic CRUD operations for an Entry as well as dive into a little bit of Bootstrap and jQuery.
I'll be updating to Tailwind CSS in a later video and maybe we'll even sprinkle in some Vue here and there. We'll see how it goes!
In other news...
My social media presence has continued to grow and since the last newsletter I've gained another 15 YouTube subscribers, 5 Twitter followers, and 2 new people have joined the mailing list! I appreciate the support and am happy you guys are finding my content useful!
