Newsletter #4

Hey everyone,

So it's been a few weeks since my last newsletter. I think for the time being I'll be sticking to a pattern of sending these out every other week.

Using Laravel Assertions in Codeception.
Since I last wrote, I've added a new blog post: If you're using Codeception as a testing framework for your Laravel app, you may find yourself wanting to use some of the familiar Laravel testing assertions. In this article, we'll dive into how to do exactly that.

I've also continued working on my YouTube series; Building Logbook in Laravel using TDD.  I've added two new videos over the past few weeks; From Types to Categories and Mutators. Be sure to check 'em out and let me know what you think!

Building Logbook in Laravel with TDD

In other news...
My social media presence has continued to grow and since the last newsletter I've gained 32 new YouTube subscribers; my biggest increase yet!  I've also gained 6 more Twitter followers, and 1 more person has joined the mailing list. My Github however has remained stagnant at 6 followers. I super appreciate all the support!

To close out this edition of the newsletter, I'd like to give you guys a little hint at what other content I'm working on for my YouTube Channel beyond the Building Logbook series. It's a project I've worked on in the past but abandoned for personal reasons; but I'll be bringing it back here in the near future as free content on YouTube...
