Monthly newsletter of Wahiawa United Methodist Church
Dear Church Family,
As we enter the holiday season, I give thanks to God for you and for the ways that you have been part of our church life this past year. This month, we especially give thanks for Dina and her 5 plus years of service as our church's office manager. We are grateful for Dina's care, commitment, and ever willingness to go above and beyond in her work for the church.
This month, you will receive a 2021 pledge card in the mail. I hope that you will take time to reflect on the past year and consider how you can contribute to our ministries. If you are able, I encourage you to consider increasing your pledge for 2021.
Last, I hope you will join us next Sunday at 7 p.m. for our annual Charge Conference meeting with the Hawaii District Superintendent. It will be a valuable opportunity to learn about and participate in the decision-making processes of our church.
Join us Sundays at 10 a.m. for worship on Zoom!

It's time to say MAHALO to DINA who has been our office manager for over 5 years. Dina has been efficient, organized, always helpful but most of all loves and cares for each of us in the church ohana including Aged to Perfection and Head Start. Dina has shared her talents, decorating for our spring and Christmas teas. Thanks to Dina the sanctuary always looks so beautiful during Christmas. She has also been involved in many of our special events. The Congregational Care Committee requests that cards of thanks be sent to Dina. To respect Dina's wishes, no gifts please. "Well done good and faithful servant." - Matthew 25:23
New Upper Room Available!
The Upper Room is a collection of devotionals written by Christians all around the world. It is an easy way to engage with scripture and develop a daily spiritual practice. If you would like a copy, please contact the church office at 622-4361 or email@example.com. Let us know if you would like a large-print version.
Thanksgiving and Christmas can be especially difficult for those who have lost a loved one. We encourage you to join us for this special session of GriefShare where we will learn about how to survive the challenges of the holiday season. For the Zoom login and additional information, please reach out to Jim or Pastor Jessica.

Wahiawa UMC 2020 Contributions
Our confirmands are partnering with the Congregational Care Committee to create Thanksgiving baskets for our kupuna over ninety! The youth will decide what to put into the baskets and CCC will assemble and deliver in time for Thanksgiving. We are excited to have this opportunity to work together to show our love for our elders!
